Subject: Invitation to the 1st International Triennial of Portraits in Knin
The Knin Museum, located on the Knin Fortress, one of the largest and oldest European fortresses, has been preserving and promoting cultural heritage for over 50 years through permanent and temporary exhibitions, archaeological research and marketing activities. In recent years, through cooperation with domestic and foreign museums and galleries, a multitude of projects have been implemented.
In 2022 one of the projects organized by the Knin Museum is the 1st International Triennial of Portraits in Knin.
Events such as the Triennial of Contemporary Art represent important, urban, cultural and tourist content, and their intention is to position the city of Knin on the world artistic and social scene. In addition to connecting the domestic and global art scene, the mission of the event is to develop new discourses through various artistic interpretations on the theme of portraiture as one of the most important motifs in fine arts.
We hereby invite you to participate in the 1st International Triennial of Portraits in Knin, Croatia, which will take place from September 9 to November 9, 2022.
We hope that you will be able to accept the invitation and we look forward to future cooperation.
Sincerely,
Acting Director of the Museum
Ante Šimić
